There's just thirty minutes until the first Derby della Madonnina of the season. What do you think of the lineup for Milan?
Massimiliano Allegri has decided to shift away from his revolutionary 4-3-3, moving back into a 4-2-3-1, which seemed to work well against Zenit St. Petersburg in Champions League play. The benefit of this formation is how it showcases Stephan El Shaarawy, far and away the most impressive player thus far for Milan.
The surprise here might be using Bojan Krkić up top rather than Giampaolo Pazzini. While the hype for Pazzini was overdone -- a hat-trick against Bologna followed by...nothing -- sometimes revenge counts for much in a derby. And surely Pazzini would want his chance against his former side?
AC Milan Starting XI (4-2-3-1): Christian Abbiati; Daniele Bonera, Mario Yepes, Philippe Mexès, Mattia De Sciglio; Nigel De Jong, Riccardo Montolivo, Urby Emanuelson, Kevn-Prince Boateng, Stephan El Shaarawy; Bojan Krkić
Milan Subs (from): Giampaolo Pazzini, Cristián Zapata, Luca Antonini, Ignazio Abate, Massimo Ambrosini, Marco Amelia, Gabriel, Robinho, Antonio Nocerino, Francesco Acerbi, Mathieu Flamini, Kévin Constant
