Atalanta Vs. Torino, Preview: Don't Expect Many Goals

Torino have allowed just three goals and Atalanta scored just four thus far. Don't expect a high scoreline in this solid mid-table clash.

Torino have become the draw masters of Serie A, with three from five matches, conceding just three goals in the process. They sit 11th in the table, and would be top half if it weren't for a two-point deduction prior to the start of the season. Il granata's one loss came to Inter, oddly enough, and they managed to shut down Udinese midweek even with the visitors coming off a "first three points" high. In other words, despite the jeers of Juventus supporters, the recently promoted Torino don't appear destined to fall right back down.

Atalanta, too, seem content in Serie A, following up last season's impressive showing with a solid start this time around. Now if the side could just stay away from scandal, and start the year without a points deduction, who knows how far they could climb? La Dea are coming off a painful midweek defeat at what shall now be known as the Fortress Angelo Massimino. Maxi Morelez opened the scoring, but within fifteen minutes, Catania had secured all three points. Atalanta currently have just four goals from five matches, and would really appreciate it if Germán Denis would start scoring again.
