Hey, it's a match between two sides not expected to do much this season. Will one surprise?
Bologna - Catania. Not exactly a matchup that inspires people to rearrange their schedules to sit down in front of the TV (or in this case, computer, because you've got to have Sky 5 for this match). But it has a bit to recommend it. Who knows when Bologna will pull off another super come-from-behind win, such as the 3-2 against AS Roma? Well, probably not until they play Roma again. It's been a drab 1-1 draw against Pescara, followed by a 1-0 loss to Siena, since that dramatic match at the Olimpico.
So we'll likely look to Catania for the fun. The rossazzurri, down to ten men after two minutes, managed to frustrate Napoli into a 0-0 draw last weekend. That really wasn't so fun. In fact, I'd describe Catania's play as downright dirty -- but there aren't a lot of options in that instance. The midweek match against Atalanta was more typical, with the visitors taking the lead before Catania snatched it back, with Nicolás Spolli and Pablo Barrientos grabbing goals inside 12 minutes. The combination of Barrientos, Alejandro Gómez and Gonzalo Bergessio is one of the most entertaining in Serie A.
