Thirteen minutes into Aston Villa's Saturday match against Chelsea, Richard Dunne was out with a foot injury, with Ciaran Clark sent to partner James Collins in central defense.
Dunne had left the pitch around the eight minute mark, with central midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker dropping to right back to fill-out the defense. Dunne was seen running along the sideline without his right boot on, but eventually Gerard Houllier decided to sub-off his veteran defender.
Villa and Chelsea remain scoreless through 18 minutes.
