It may have required some luck to get there, but Michel Bastos's 36th minute shot found the back of Vincent Enyeama's net, giving the visiting Lyonnais a 0-2 lead over Hapoel in Tel Aviv.
Bastos finish came off a corner from Yoann Gourcuff, the Brazilian getting onto a ball after an attempted clearance. Bastos's shot went off of Romain Rocchi and into the net, Bastos's second goal of the match.
