Only six minutes after Twente had gone down two goals at White Hart Lane, Nacer Chadli converted from chaos in front of Heurelho Gomes's net, pulling the Dutch champions back to 2-1 with Spurs.
Chadli's goal is the third within the second half's first 11 minutes, with Rafael van der Vaart and Roman Pavlyuchenko scoring within five minutes of the second kick-off.
Both teams came into today's match with one point, part of a four-way tie in Champions League's Group A.
