25. Chris Korb (New York Red Bulls)
Ben Schneider (Once A Metro): By far the biggest problem position for New York last season was the left back slot. Danleigh Borman performed reasonably well in the early part of the season, but was supplanted by Roy Miller, who showed exactly why he shouldn't be playing top-level professional soccer. As a fifth-year senior, Korb has plenty of college-level experience and should be able to slot in alongside the excellent Tim Ream and shore up New York's defense while providing more of an attacking outlet on the left.
Drew Epperley (WV Hooligan): Another defensive pick for New York but one I really like. Korb is the "other" Akron player in this draft and one that could prove to be a steal for anyone who gets him. He's the kind of player that bails out his team, and with Bouna Coundoul in net this is probably a wise pick to make for that alone.
