Everton Vs. Liverpool Live, 2011 Merseyside Derby: Lineups

David Moyes and Kenny Dalglish have put out teams with little to no surprises for the first Merseyside Derby of the 2011-12 Premier League season, with both teams sticking to their most common shape...presumably. Dirk Kuyt might be playing a slightly deeper role than usual, as Liverpool are fielding two strikers and a true left winger along with Kuyt, implying a 4-4-2 shape. Louis Saha has returned for Everton, who play Tim Cahill behind him. The Toffees are obviously interested in winning the game and aren't going nearly as defensive as they did against Manchester City. Here are the lineups.

Everton lineup (4-4-1-1): Howard; Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Baines; Coleman, Fellaini, Rodwell, Osman; Cahill; Saha

Liverpool lineup (4-4-2): Reina; Kelly, Carragher, Skrtel, Enrique; Kuyt, Lucas, Adam, Downing; Suarez, Carroll
