Some bad news for Manchester City fans, who are already down a striker thanks to Carlos Tevez's antics at the Allianz Arena in midweek: Sergio Aguero has just been forced off the pitch at Ewood Park in the 27th minute of City's match against Blackburn Rovers. The Argentinian forward appears to have some sort of groin injury, and although he was able to walk off he clearly wasn't able to continue, and Roberto Mancini ended up deploying Samir Nasri in his place.
This is probably a precautionary move, in any case, but we won't know more until Mancini lets us know the severity of the problem after the match. If Aguero is indeed unavailable for the next match, City will find themsleves with just Edin Dzeko and Mario Balotelli out of a corps of strikers that until as recently as Tuesday morning looked immensely fearsome. As for the match, it's scoreless at Ewood Park, with City having the better of things and not much really going on.
