The wonderful world of the internet probably won't hand over Ecuador's starting lineup for tonight's friendly match against the USA until 10 minutes before kickoff, but you can get the United States starting lineup 90 minutes before kickoff! What a country! Jurgen Klinsmann has made just one change to the team that defeated Honduras 1-0, dropping Michael Orozco Fiscal after he put in yet another sub-par performance. Here's the team.
United States lineup (4-2-3-1): Tim Howard; Timothy Chandler, Oguchi Onyewu, Carlos Bocanegra, Steve Cherundolo; Kyle Beckerman, Maurice Edu; Brek Shea, Clint Dempsey, Danny Williams; Jozy Altidore
Substitutes: Nick Rimando, Jonathan Spector, Tim Ream, Michael Bradley, DaMarcus Beasley, Edson Buddle, Juan Agudelo
Many thought that Michael Bradley would get a start after the Beckerman-Edu tandem put in a mediocre shift against Honduras, while a lot of people also believed that Brek Shea would get a rest. Instead, Klinsmann has only changed his back line, wondering many to believe exactly what about the 'Latin style' Maurice Edu represents and whether or not Klinsmann and Schellas Hyndmann are conspiring to kill Shea so he can't leave for Europe.
Kickoff is at 7:00 pm ET from Red Bull Arena. The game can be seen on ESPN2, ESPN3.com, and Univision.
