Their avatar of spurniness is one Emmanuel Adebayor, who is released one on one with Wojciech Szczesny only to see his shot's path towards the bottom corner impeded by the goalkeeper's outstretched hand. It was a very good save, but Adebayor has to do better there.
Speaking of having to do better, from the following corner it looks as though Arsenal will be able to break only for Luka Modric to do brilliantly in stealing a ball and then winning a free kick near the edge of the area. Having done all of that hard work, the little Croatian goes and wastes it, blasting straight into the wall for no discernable reason. Bit silly that.
