Tottenham Hotspur Vs. Arsenal, 2011 Premier League: Gareth Bale Vs. Carl Jenkinson Isn't Fair

It's all happening at White Hart Lane now. Mistakes in the midfield at both ends lead to attacks breaking down and incisive counterattacks. One sees Ledley King stranded in the Arsenal area after Jermain Defoe had been stuffed by Alex Song. The Gunners riposte is eventually snuffed out by Scott Parker who races back to cover despite quite clearly being injured. Weirdly, Jake Livermore doesn't come in for the stricken midfielder - he's on for Emmanuel Adebayor instead.

We've also had a fun taste of what happens when Carl Jenkinson tries to defend against Gareth Bale: Bad things for Arsenal. Twice the substitute has been obliterated by Tottenham's left winger, and the first very nearly led to a goal, with Defoe's subsequent shot tipped wide via a lovely save from Wojciech Szczesny, who appears to be trying to atone for his mistake in allowing Walker's shot past him. Arsenal only have a few more minutes to get the goal - it's still 2-1 here.
