This game is not on television, so Major League Soccer decided to be kind and stream this match for free on their website. My lovely co-worker Aaron Campeau pointed out that someone, somewhere, though skeptical, saw that MLS was streaming this match online for free and decided to give it a shot. What they've been treated to is a game with a lot of long balls and not a lot of chances. I am not particularly annoyed by this because I have watched the Columbus Crew and Colorado Rapids play both other teams and each other on many occasions. This is what I thought it would be.
But, if you are that guy who Aaron was talking about and you managed to stumble upon this post: I am so sorry. If I knew you, I could have saved you. I could have let you know that this was exactly the wrong match to watch if you were willing to give Major League Soccer a chance. i know this sucks, but it was supposed to suck. Really, there are better games than this. All the time.
It's 0-0 in the 40th minute and neither team has a clear-cut scoring chance.
