Real Salt Lake Vs. Seattle Sounders Live, MLS Cup Playoffs 2011: Nat Borchers Subbed Off Injured

Real Salt Lake's worst fears are confirmed as the limping Nat Borchers has been forced to come off due to an injury. What Borchers injured and how he injured it isn't clear, but he started limping around in the 79th minute and a couple minutes later hit the turf, asked for help from the trainer and was forced to be subbed off. With Jamison Olave already being subbed off with a right quad injury, Salt Lake is now playing without either of their starting center backs.

Chris Schuler came on for Olave and has done a good job, but that was the extent of the trusted defensive players on the Salt Lake bench. Jason Kreis opted to bring Luis Gil into the midfield for Borchers, with Chris Wingert going from left back to center back and Will Johnson sliding back from the midfield to Wingert's left back spot. Salt Lake still leads 2-0, but the Seattle Sounders have to look at the RSL back line and think here is the chance for a huge goal.
