If you haven't heard, there was a wee bit of a contretemps at the end of New York Red Bulls-LA Galaxy. Following the Galaxy's narrow 1-0 win, the hosts were pretty upset, and tensions that were evident throughout the game boiled over after Alex Prus blew for full time.
There was a far bit of pushing, shoving and punching involved - all very uncivilized. Rafael Marquez and Juninho would eventually be issued red cards for their roles in the fight (which was mostly the former's fault). However, the fighting wasn't the most embarrassing thing that Marquez did at the Red Bull Arena on Saturday...

Considering the amount of diving the designated player was doing during the match (and it was pretty awful) it's astonishing that he managed to up his game for this one. Marquez is obviously trying to get someone red carded here, although it's not entirely clear who he wants off. Is this the worst dive the MLS playoffs have ever seen?
Alternative theory: Mike Magee was leading a game of Simon Says and Stephen Keel won the 'fall down' round.

is all of this starting because Rafa Marquez decided to throw the ball at Landon Donovan after the whistle because as he’s proven over his entire career, he’s an ass. MLS should revoke Juninho’s red, issue no more suspensions and shoot Marquez in each kneecap. Not sure if the Red Bulls or Galaxy would be more excited to pull the trigger.
