Hey! It's a goal! It's actual excitement and good play! Party! Yeah, this match, which was horrendous for the first 45 minutes, finally has something to talk about and it's thanks to Julio Cesar and Teal Bunbury. Cesar did well to take the ball away as the Colorado Rapids were looking to get forward. It left Colorado out of position and disorganized at the back. It's something that Bunbury took advantage of, making a quick run in behind the defense and Cesar fed him. That left Bunbury in alone on goal for the clinical finish to put Sporting Kansas City in front after 49 minutes.
Colorado has been completely devoid of any creativity all match and there's no indication that they are going to find chances now. Meanwhile, Sporting has found their legs and have the momentum to go along with the goal. That's a problem for Colorado, who still have a second leg in Kansas City to play.
