Read More: Joel Lindpere (MIDFIELDER - New York Red Bulls), Bryan Jordan (F - LA Galaxy), New York Red Bulls, LA Galaxy
Division II veteran and striker-cum-right back Bryan Jordan has entered the game for the Los Angeles Galaxy to start the second half against New York Red Bulls, and for good reason. Hejduk picked up a yellow card in the first half, and is having to do quite a bit of work against Joel Lindpere. Though Hejduk is an intelligent veteran player, New York is doing a whole lot of playing down the left and Hejduk can be a bit of a hothead. Bruce Arena doesn't trust him to not pick up a second yellow, which is completely understandable.
Jordan isn't exactly much of a defender, though, or at least not as good of one as Hejduk was. New York was already going down their left quite a bit with Todd Dunivant playing so well on LA's left and their right, and that's only going to be more common in the second half with Jordan at right back.
