Turkey and Croatia are contesting what is most likely the most competitive tie in the Euro 2012 qualifying playoffs, as both teams are almost certainly worthy of a spot in the finals. Turkey are seriously hindered by the loss of Nuri Sahin, but will like their chances at home. They're playing with a numerical advantage in midfield as expected, as Croatia stick with their 4-4-2. But with such a strong midfield, is it even a disadvantage? With the quality of Luka Modric and the work rate of striker Ivica Olic, perhaps not. Here are the lineups.
Turkey Lineup (4-5-1): Demirel; Balta, Korkmaz, Gönül, İnan; Kaçar, Emre, Altıntop, Turan, Sarıoğlu; Burak Yılmaz
Croatia Lineup (4-4-2): Pletikosa; Šimunić, Ćorluka, Schildenfeld, Vida; Rakitić, Modrić, Srna, Dujmović; Mandžukić, Olić
