MLS Mock Expansion Draft, 2011: SB Nation Soccer Projects All 18 Protected Lists

Later tonight, SB Nation Soccer will conduct our second ever MLS Mock Expansion Draft. But before we could do that, we needed to figure who was going to be available. In order to do that, we asked the editors from each of our 18 team-specific MLS blogs to project who they think their team will protect.

We felt that this would give our mock draft at least some sense of realism. Going off these lists, SB Nation World Soccer Editor Kevin McCauley will play the part of Montreal Impact general manager and pick the 10 players he think would get the expansion team off to a solid start. Our Mock Expansion Draft will begin at 7 p.m. Eastern and be streamed live right here. SB Nation Soccer contributor Drew Epperley will also provide some post draft commentary.
