Real Madrid have yet too concede a goal in the UEFA Champions League Group Stages and as a result sit atop Group D by a five point margin. At the opposite end of the spectrum sits Dinamo Zagreb who have yet to score in the Champions League and sit at the bottom of the group with zero points.
Madrid manager Jose Mourinho will be forced to make changes to his squad due to injury and because the club has already qualified for the next round. Kaka, Angel Di Maria,Alvaro Arbeloa, Ricardo Carvalho, and Marcelo are all injured. Fabio Coentrao, Rafael Varane, Lassana Diarra, and Nuri Sahin could all feature in this match as a result.
Should Sahin start it would be his first since his summer move to Madrid from German Champions Borussia Dortmund. The Turkish midfielder picked up a knee injury in the pre-season and is only now nearing a return to fitness. He made his debut for Real Madrid as a substitute on November 6 against Osasuna.
Croatian champion Dinamo is waiting on the fitness of goalkeeper Ivan Kelava, defenders Josip Simunic, and Sime Vrsaljko. Midfielder Milan Badelj will be relied on to do much of the heavy lifting in midfield for the Blues as they seek not only their first points of the campaign, but also their first goal.
