After 25 minutes, not much of substance has happened in this one. The Houston Dynamo are keeping their shape well and hoofing long balls out of the back, while the Philadelphia Union look too congested in the middle, aren't utilizing the flanks, and it's tough to figure out what their plan is. For neutrals, it's a bit boring thus far.
However, the Dynamo fans have to be pleased with what they're seeing. Sure, it would be nice for the home side to add a goal and finish off the Union, but their strategy is working so far. The team seems confident that they can hold onto this clean sheet, and the Union haven't done anything yet to suggest that they can break the deadlock.
Until Philadelphia scores - and that would require a fluke at this rate - this game is going to stay a bit dull.
