AC Milan Transfer Rumors: Pato On His Way To PSG?

Alexandre Pato is being linked to a move to Paris Saint-Germain and away from AC Milan

Dec 27, 2011 - Though he's been a productive member of the team, Alexandre Pato hasn't quite lived up to the massive expectations that surrounded him ahead of his move to AC Milan as an 18-year-old. The Brazilian star was one of the best players at the 2007 FIFA Under-20 World Cup, and he was only 17-years-old at the time. He's 22 now, and between his inconsistent play and the rumored arrival of Carlos Tevez, Pato looks expendable.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly in talks to sign the striker for an exorbitant fee. Though Kevin Gameiro has lived up to expectations, the rest of the forwards at Parc des Princes have not been great this season, and Pato would obviously be a welcome addition. Pato's been talking about his lack of communication with manager Massimo Allegri, while at the same time praising former manager and current PSG Sporting Director Leonardo.

Prepare for speculation about a Pato move to keep rolling through January 31, especially if Antonio Cassano returns to health and Milan brings in Carlos Tevez.
