Queens Park Rangers looked like coming away from their match against West Bromwich Albion with all three points, but a late goal by Shane Long cancelled out Heidar Helgusson's 20th minute strike and so the hosts were forced to share the spoils with Roy Hodgson and a spirited Baggies side.
Rangers fans might argue that they deserved better - Shaun Wright-Phillips had a goal ruled out for what was at best a marginal offside and QPR were better than West Brom for most of the match, but a strong fightback from the visitors towards the end of the game that culminated in Peter Odemwingie squaring for Long to tap in from close range meant that the result wasn't particularly unfair at a goal apiece. The draw doesn't do much for the table, with both sides essentially level on points, and considering that WBA trailed for so long you'd have to think that they're pretty happy with snatching something from the match.
