Borussia Monchengladbach star Marco Reus is one of the hottest commodities in German football, though it appears any move the 22-year old German international makes won't happen until this summer.
Reus appears likely to head to Borussia Dortmund (Dortmund is his hometown) but there will be competition from Bayern Munich and possible Real Madrid as well for the forward. Spanish daily AS has been stirring the proverbial pot with reports that Jose Mourinho and his scouts are "keeping an eye" on the young German who has been in sensational form this season at Monchengladbach. After all, 10 goals in 15 matches will usually lead to your name being all over the rumor pages.
If Reus ends up heading to Dortmund, it could open the door for the club to move attacking midfielder Mario Götze who himself has been the subject of some high value transfer rumors. Dortmund remains steadfast for the moment that Götze and fellow popular transfer target Mats Hummels are staying put.
It appears the only real certainty is that Reus won't make a move until the summer...of course, I also didn't think Thierry Henry would go on loan with Arsenal.
