For those who suspected that the loss of Lucas Leiva could lead to the introduction of Andy Carroll into the Liverpool lineup, you are correct in this particular instance. Though, Jay Spearing has also come into the lineup as a direct replacement, meaning the introduction of Carroll could just be a temporary tactical switch for Kenny Dalglish. Their opponents Fulham appear to be lining up with Moussa Dembele and Clint Dempsey on the wings, with both fit after recently suffering slight injuries. Bryan Ruiz remains out of the first XI.
