Around the 28th minute of the first half, Manchester United start to assert control over their match against Manchester City. The the 40th minute at Old Trafford, a right-footed shot from Nani, in the middle of the area, beat Joe Hart to the `keeper's left, making it 1-0, Manchester United.
The goal was created when a long ball played to the edge of United's attacking third saw Joleon Lescott and Wayne Rooney elevate to meet it.
