This may be the worst, yellow-card only tackle of all time, a statement I can make confident that a.) I'm probably wrong, but b.) since nobody keeps track of these things, the worst that can happen is c.) somebody will post even more gruesome, unpunished challenges in the comments.
Ugh. Do I really want to go here?
Let's forget about all that and file this under the category of "Mathieu Flamini may very well be a bad, bad man." After all, how many light-hearted, magnanimous souls have you known to launch an ankle-killer like this one:
You hear people say this all this time, but in this case, it's undeniably true. There is no way in the molten, boiling recesses of hell that Mathieu Flamini should have seen anything but Lucifer's red for that challenge.
But, since he got a yellow, justice has been served, right? We can all move on.

I didn’t think it was that bad until I saw the 3rd replay that saw him go in with both studs up. Yikes.

It's like no one has ever seen Flamini play before.
He does that every week, more or less. (Doesn’t make it less disgusting, but it does make one wonder why everyone’s so shocked.)
