Cesc Fabregas Likely Out For Two Weeks, Will Miss Arsenal FA Cup Match With Manchester United

Arsenal are absolutely falling apart (although really, what's new about that?). Alex Song and Theo Walcott were already thought to be out of the FA Cup match at Manchester United on Saturday, with that now confirmed. Robin van Persie is a doubt as well. Now, Cesc Fábregas will once again be sidelined, his reoccurring hamstring problem flaring up again. Arsène Wenger said, "He is very disappointed because it is becoming a bit of a problem for him."

This comment is in the running for the "Biggest Understatement of the Year" award. A quick glance at the Google gives thousands of news articles for "Cesc Fábregas injury" and even more for "Arsenal injury." It's been reported that Fábregas played in pain for the last hour of the Champions League match against Barcelona. Considering how ineffectual the Arsenal captain was during that match, perhaps it's best to let him sit back and fully recover this time.
