Blackpool's fairly bright start to the match today is now a somewhat distant memory - it's been all Arsenal for about half an hour here at Bloomfield Road, and they really should be five or six goals up rather than just two. Abou Diaby and Emmanuel Eboue are the scorers, but Samir Nasri's hit the post, Robin van Persie might have done better with several clear-cut chances, and Diaby decided to go have a picnic or something rather than put the ball into the back of the net when presented with an open goal.
Really, Arsenal have been playing some quite lovely football. Their buildup play has been superb, and they've finished enough chances to get themselves a victory. On another day, they might be left ruing their missed opportunities, but it doesn't look like that will happen today.
Blackpool have... had a DJ Campbell shot cleared off the line. That's something, I suppose, but it's not looking good for the relegation threatened Tangerines, who are defending like a gaggle of drunken badgers.
