Will Bruin has scored his first career MLS goal to give the Houston Dynamo a 3-1 lead over the Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday. Bruin found himself 1v1 with Whitecaps goalkeeper Jay Nolly after receiving a nice throughball, beat Nolly on the dribble and put the ball in the net from a sharp angle.
The second half of this match has been much less eventful than the first half, especially the last 10 minutes. The chances on goal have been few and far between and neither team had really been forcing the action.
Bruin has been starting in place of Brian Ching, who has missed mot of the season with an injury. Bruin was the No. 11 overall pick in the most recent MLS SuperDraft after being one of the top scorers during his college days at Indiana.
