Juventus Official Site: Forget Scudetti, It Doesn't Want You To Know Anything

Watching my twitter timeline as I attempted to get as much caffeine into my system as possible (I hear injecting it through the eyeballs is pretty efficient) I came across a few rumblings about the new Juventus official site. Namely, that the site listed the number of the scudetti earned by the Old Lady as 29.

Seeing as I firmly believe in thorough research of all things Juventus related (by "all things" I mean "Alessandro Matri's eyelashes") I decided to seek out the Juventus site, to see for myself just how many titles the club boasted that it possessed. Here is what I found:

No, you're not seeing things -- the official Juventus site just wants me to believe that nothing about the club actually exists. Which I think is much more fascinating than Juventus attempting to say they have 29 scudetti when they were stripped of two of their titles. After all, those trophies remain with the club, and they're included in the "trophy room" section, sure, why not trumpet your 29?

As a very wise person pointed out, the titles were still won. They can't actually be taken back. What needs to happen is a little bit of happiness be taken away from every Juve fan (Not my words). And clearly, that is what Juventus is doing this season -- taking away that happiness. The Juventus site might be doing its best to protect the supporters from the pain of this season, but it's not prepared to full on lie. Yet.
