New England Revolution vs Real Salt Lake: Halftime, Schuler Puts RSL On Top

After a couple long spells of possession by what some are dubbing a "B" team by Real Salt Lake, second year defender Chris Schuler hammed home his first career goal and the game's first goal. The goal came off a corner kick by Collen Warner

The New England Revolution only saw a couple chances on goal so far. A couple of those chances came late in the half and were after their longest spell of possession. Kenny Mansally had a couple chances but none were on target. For the most part, the Revs have yet to put together any positive movement in their attack so far tonight. RSL's defense has been doing a good enough job to handle the Revolution attack.

RSL had a few quality chances on goal after a couple free kicks. For a team that is resting most of their starters, they've looked very good so far tonight. Seeing a mostly reserve team do well against most of the Revs' main starters has to be a positive sign for Jason Kreis. His club is proving yet again how good and deep they truly are here.

Scoring Summary:

Schuler (Warner) 27'
