DC United Vs. LA Galaxy: United Down To 10 Men After Quaranta Sent Off

If DC United wasn't having enough trouble scoring against the Los Angeles Galaxy already, it just got tougher now that they have to play down a man. Santino Quaranta was booked for his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute with his United side already down 1-0 at RFK Stadium. Quaranta's first yellow came in the first half when he took down Juninho. His second came when he got he raised his boot while trying to play the ball and missed, instead coming down on Omar Gonzalez with his studs.

DC has pushed Los Angeles more in the second half than they did in the first and if anyone was to score in the second half it looked like it would be the home side. Now down a goal, that doesn't seem as true and the Galaxy look like good bets to hold onto their 1-0 win and three points.
