Chivas USA Vs. New England Revolution: Alejandro Moreno Makes It 3-0

Things have gone from bad to worse for the New England Revolution as yet another defensive lapse allow Chivas USA to put home the game's third goal. The Revolution were attempting to clear the ball out of their penalty box while Chivas's strikers Alejandro Moreno and Marcos Mondaini put pressure on the Revolution defenders with the ball. One ill advised pass back to Dieder Domi by Shalrie Joseph and Morano made the Revolution pay.

The goal was Moreno's third of the season and easily one of his easiest goals in his career as Domi's first touch let him down. There was nothing Bobby Shuttleworth could do about the shot as Morano hammered it home from the six yard box.

The mental lapse by the Revolution have happened left and right in this game and are a good reason why Chivas USA is up 3-0 here. Steve Nicol's side has put a couple more chances on Dan Kennedy's goal so far in this second half but it's his defense that has caused the damage here so far tonight.

You have to give Chivas plenty of credit for staying hungry here as Moreno and Mondaini have been a thorn in the Revolution side tonight.
