Brek Shea's Goal, "Yeah I Meant To Do That"

On a night with lots of heavy rain, wind, and lightning, FC Dallas found possibly one of the most random ways to ever win a game. Just as the Los Angeles Galaxy were getting back into things after the hour-long weather delay, Dallas countered with this crazy knock-out blow by midfielder Brek Shea

Is it a cross? Or a shot? That was the quick debate after the game between myself and several other writers in the press box. A couple people said "cross", while I was thinking it was a shot.

Shea was quick to tell folks last night it was definitely a shot.

"I was trying to chip him," Shea deadpanned.

Shea's usually one of my favorite people to talk to here in Dallas and his comments definitely made a few folks chuckle in the locker room after the 2-1 win over the Galaxy last night.
