Schalke 04 and Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer might not be the most popular figure in Gelsenkirchen after he revealed he would not be returning to his childhood team for the coming season. Not being popular, however, is not often associated with being hit in the face while parading around following a cup win. But that's exactly what happened to Neuer, who we slapped by a presumably angry fan as he was going around town celebrating Schalke's 5-0 win over MSV Duisberg to claim the DFB-Pokal trophy. Watch the video after the jump.
That doesn't seem very friendly, does it? Neuer looked a little bit stunned by the hit, then shrugged it off and went back to the drinking. Fair play to him, but a big thumbs down to the cowardly fan who decided to hit a man who's been instrumental to his team's success and then run away. Miserable behaviour there.
