On Monday, Sergio Aguero announced via his official website that he wanted a move away from his current club, Atletico Madrid. The 22 year old striker indicated that the move wasn't based on a desire for more money, but it was simply a "sporting decision." In other words, he wants a chance at top-class football, something that Atleti, who finished seventh in La Liga this season, won't be able to provide.
Despite the fact that almost everyone with any knowledge about Serie A is aware of the fact that Juventus could never afford Aguero, the announcement that he wants away from Atletico once again fired up the rumors that the Old Lady would be pursuing the Argentine. Juventus have met with Aguero's agent, but considering his price tag, it's more likely that Chelsea, Liverpool, or Real Madrid will end up with the player. With Jose Mourinho intent on outdoing Roberto Mancini for the world's strongest bench, it seems most likely that Aguero will end up across the city.
