It's been known for quite some time that Juventus are interested in Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero, and ever since the Argentine expressed his desire for a move away from the club, rumors have abounded that the bianconeri will sign him up. Now, Atleti have made it known that Juve are in fact seeking to negotiate for Aguero -- but should they wish to actually sign him, the price tag is hefty: €45m.
Atletico have also made it known that Real Madrid have not put in an offer for Aguero, despite his desire to play for Los Merengues. Right now it's only Juventus who have stepped up to negotiate, further demonstrating the club's desire to land a big signing during the summer. However, another twist remains: with Aguero insisting his desire to leave Atleti is a "sporting decision," it appears that a move to a team that failed to qualify for European competition is not exactly what he's dreaming of. He just doesn't want to join Juventus.
