Well this is interesting. According to Nick Coppack a journalist with Manchester United who's in the press box at Wembley for the 2011 UEFA Champions League final between United and FC Barcelona, there's a rumour going around that Sir Alex Ferguson has done something very interesting with the team selection:
Rumours around the Wembley press box that Sir Alex has "sprung a major surprise" in his team selection. Something that would make you gasp.
We don't really know what that might be, because Ferguson is notoriously good at keeping his cards close to his chest on lineups and shapes, but that seems to imply that they're not going to go with their now standard 4-4-1-1 with a Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez pairing. Comedy predition: Michael Owen starts. Less comedy, but still a prediction, from Gene Um of The Busby Babe: Antonio Valencia starts at right back, with Nani also playing. We'll just have to wait and see.
