UEFA Champions League Final 2011: Chicharito, Wayne Rooney Rumored To Start

Some lineup news is starting to trickle out of Manchester United's camp, but there's nothing there that could be described as a huge shock... yet. All we have are Twitter rumours, but they're frequent enough and written by enough credible people that we can be pretty sure they're correct: Scottish midfielder Darren Fletcher will be on the bench and both Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez will start.

Fletcher, of course, has had fitness problems for most of the last few months, picking up a bad virus from somewhere and never really recovering. Although he's much better now than he was weeks ago, I'd assume that that's he reason he's only able to make the bench today. There's no reason not to deploy him in the centre of the pitch otherwise. Chicharito and Wayne Rooney starting is as expected, but it's nice to have that all 'confirmed'.
