Two US Men's National team players are rumored to be moving around in Mexico. Striker Herculez Gomez is set to move from Pachuca to Estudiantes Tecos along with Braulio Luna in exchange for central midfielder Mauro Cejas.
You may recall that both Gomez and Luna were placed on the transfer list at the end of the Clausura season, along with the rest of the team. Clearly Pachuca is making moves to make up for their crash out of the Clausura.
It is a fairly even two-for-one deal between Pachuca and Tecos. Pachuca was in need of a center midfielder and Cejas fits that perfectly for them.
That isn't the only move that Pachuca is said to be making today. Reports are also saying that American midfielder DaMarcus Beasley is looking at joining the club.
As expected, American MF DaMarcus Beasley has arrived at Pachuca in hopes of finalizing a deal #usmnt
Beasley has been playing in Germany with Hannover 96 the past two years but injuries kept him from playing for the large part of his time in Germany. He only saw time in four matches while with Hannover. Beasley is currently under contract with Hannover 96, but he hasn't made the 18 man squad in months. It would be doubtful that Hannover would keep Beasley should someone come along and make an offer on him.
No official word yet on whether or not Beasley is training with Pachuca.
