Just a few days ago, Napoli patron Aurelio De Laurentiis stated that it would require an "indecent proposal" to pry midfielder Marek Hamsik away from the club. Quotes from the Slovak suggested that perhaps he was set to turn his attentions elsewhere, with AC Milan trying to woo him away. However, Milan have now said they won't be the club to make such an indecent proposal -- possibly because they fear the insane ramblings they'll meet from the Napoli president.
Should any other club wish to make such a proposal, it will need to be more than €40m. De Laurentiis has said that Hamsik is an investment, and that he's spent more than that on the player. Perhaps Marek's hair gel bill has contributed to his costs? Whatever it is, the price being paid doesn't seem to matter: Napoli have said Hamsik will remain an azzurri player into next season.
