VIDEO: Aya Miyama Goal Means Extra Time For USA-Japan Women's World Cup Final

The United States side was 10-ish minutes away from an outright Women's World Cup Final victory when Aya Miyama took advantage of some awkward defense to post the tying goal. Rachel Buehler tipped the ball to Ali Krieger instead of going for a definitive clear, while Krieger either didn't see Miyama or simply didn't get a good foot on the ball.

If it didn't come down to the wire, it wouldn't be a United States soccer game. Both the men's and women's teams have become infamous for needing every moment of every game, win or lose, to settle events, and here we go.
