Transfer Rumors 2011: Summer Window Closes In Two Days

The summer transfer window is closing in just under two days and SB Nation has all of the news and rumors for you in one place

Transfer deadline day is tomorrow, August 31, but the day before deadline day already has the news and rumors flying in hot and heavy. All of the major European leagues have clubs making major transfers in the coming days, and we'll have them all covered here. First of all, here's a quick recap of what's already gone down on Tuesday morning.

Eljero Elia close to moving from Hamburg to Juventus

Arsenal agree to sign left back Andre Santos

Armand Traore moves from Arsenal to QPR

Arsenal negotiating with Werder Bremen about Per Mertesacker transfer

Unsurprisingly, Arsenal's poor form and large war chest have lead them to be the center of attention so far. They should remain in the spotlight until the end of the window, and we expect news to come in soon on their capture of AS Monaco striker Park Chu-Young. Also expected soon is news of American international Michael Bradley's move to Chievo Verona and a possible move for Owen Hargreaves to Manchester City.

We'll have all of the news and rumors here, in one place, from now until the window closes at midnight in Europe on August 31.
