Victor Ruíz, one of the stars of Spain’s Under-21 national team, has just inked a five-year contract with Valencia, sealing a move back to Spain from Italian side Napoli. If you don’t believe me because my information is coming from Marca.com (and trust me, I know how you’re feeling), then maybe this picture will convince you.
At 22 years old, Ruíz is considered by many to be one of the best young talents in the game right now, and should add important defensive reinforcement for los Ché. Upon his arrival, the exciting young winger said that he was "very excited to join Valencia," and hoped to bring "lots of joy" to all the fans. Valencia will officially present Ruíz next Thursday at the Mestalla.
While Napoli will be sad to see one of their best young players leave, it's nice (as a fan of Spanish soccer) to see such an exciting player come to Spain. As a fan of Napoli, though, I'm a bit crushed. Mixed emotions here on transfer day.
