Manchester United Vs. Chelsea Live, 2011 Premier League: Wayne Rooney Goal Makes It 3-0

Wayne Rooney has nine goals in the English Premier League this season. NINE. It is the fifth game of the season, and the man who is not even supposed to be Manchester United's primary goal-scorer (and who certainly isn't a center forward anymore) already has nine goals. Unbelievable. This one was a 45th minute tap-in against Chelsea, giving him a goal in each of United's games and his team a 3-0 lead.

Phil Jones, surging forward from the center of defense, was the man who made the goal. The youngster signed from Blackburn is making a habit of those surging runs and is an absolute truck of a man, but that doesn't excuse Chelsea's defending. After a big of a scramble and an exchange between him and Nani, the ball eventually fell to a completely unmarked Rooney, who finished easily to put United up 3-0 just before the stroke of halftime.
