Mexico take on Chile at Estadi Cornella-El Prat today. Chepo de la Torre will play random players who have no business in the team and Mexico will still avoid losing. Now you don't even have to watch!
Will 'Chepo' Jose Manuel de la Torre continue to play old and average players he has an odd affinity for? Will Mexico somehow not lose regardless? Will Chile duplicate their fantastic performance from Friday against Spain? Who cares?!? There's actually a football match on this Sunday!
Thanks to the international break and the way everything has been scheduled, Mexico vs. Chile is literally the only thing going on outside of South America, where the Brasileiro and Argentine Primera 2011 Apertura are still going on, for lord knows what reason. 'Chicharito' Javier Hernandez is expected to play, while Giovani dos Santos and Hobbit Bermudez will continue to sit behind Sinha because Chepo is a crazy person.
Both of these teams play an entertaining, attacking style of football, so you should be thoroughly entertained even if you aren't the least bit familiar with the players on either team. Though, if you aren't the least bit familiar with either Chicharito or Alexis Sanchez, there's a very good chance that you just don't like football. Why are you reading this, again?
The game kicks off at 3:00 pm ET, 9:00 pm local time from Estadi Cornella-El Prat in Barcelona, Spain. We'll have live coverage right here for you at SB Nation, because we certainly don't have anything better to do.
