This is what KPB thinks of the Milan Derby.
Milan take on Inter in the Derby della Madonnina on Sunday, but there are a few more Serie A matches to pay attention to in Week 18.
There might be nine matches scheduled for this weekend (Napoli - Bologna have a Monday evening game), but it's the Milan derby where all eyes will be focused. Milan play "host" to Inter in the late match on Saturday, with the rossoneri sharing the top of the table with Juventus. Inter, to their credit, have fought back from their dreadful start to the season to attain fifth place -- and have been, shall we say, impressive in their last two matches, scoring four over Lecce and five against Parma. Keep your eyes on SB Nation Soccer for a full preview of the Derby della Madonnina, as well as breaking news and live coverage.
For those who just can't wait until Sunday night to catch some calcio, Serie A has thoughtfully provided a few other matches to quench your thirst. On Saturday, Catania host Roma, with Vincenzo Montella preparing to take on his beloved giallorossi for the first time from the opposing dugout. Roma have won their last three matches in Serie A, but Catania sit only five points below them, and continue to play lovely football. This one has potential to be great.
As for Sunday, choices abound. Lazio attempt to recover from their 4-0 smacking by Siena, and near embarrassment against Hellas Verona in the Coppa, with a resounding win over Atalanta. Later, you can watch a regulation battle between Cesena and Novara, or, if you'd rather, see if Udinese can overcome their midweek Coppa loss (their first at home this year) by beating Genoa. Or you can be like everyone else and tune in to Juventus as they relentlessly stride toward world domination with a ruthless win over Cagliari.
And don't forget to come back for more on Monday, when Napoli host Bologna, hoping to take as many points as possible before the Champions League begins again.
