AC Milan have had their first real chance of the match and it came about after very pretty play. A searching pass from Alexandre Pato reached the right wing and the ball ended up pinging back to the Brazilian in the penalty box. Unfortunately for Milan, he couldn't finish the move he started, blasting well over Julio Cesar's crossbar. With rumours that Pato's had a move to Paris Saint-Germain nixed this week, it's nice that he's giving his nearly-employers a consolation gift - that ball is well on its way to France.
Milan had a rocky opening to the match but they're looking far more solid now. Julio Cesar's made a couple of mistakes under pressure, and the Inter defence is being pretty heavily tested by the combination of Pato and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. If this keeps up, you wouldn't rule out a first half goal by Milan, but that's exactly what you would have said the other way around ten minutes ago, soooo...
