The FA Cup Third Round features six replays. Some are likely to be entertaining, others are likely to be dull 0-0 borefests.
Back in the day, FA Cup ties would be replayed over and over and over again in the event of infinity draws. Because of some newfangled rubbish like "common sense", teams now play only one replay in the FA Cup. If their second match is tied, they go to extra time and penalties. That's what's going on in six FA Cup Third Round ties, and incredibly, all of the winners of this week's replays will go on to host their Fourth Round match.
Leicester City and Nottingham Forest is a derby, but it was a dull encounter last time out. Dull would be a kind description of another FA Cup derby, Wolverhampton Wanderers vs. Birmingham City. The first leg between those two sides was hardly even football. There is one replay of a very entertaining match, and that's Bolton Wanderers vs. Macclesfield Town. The underdog League Two outfit fought to a 2-2 draw at home, the highlight being a stunning strike by Arnaud Mendy.
